Job summary

HBS in Belfast is seeking a Qualified Traffic Management Operative to set up and maintain traffic management systems, directing traffic during roadworks and events, and coordinating with colleagues and clients.

The role requires 37.5 hours per week with day, evening, night and weekend shifts, plus on-call duties. A full UK driving licence with up to 6 points and a valid TM qualification are required for on-site work across Northern Ireland.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) to be eligible for the role.
• Own transport and within 1-hour driving distance from the depot.
• Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g., Lantra 12D M1/M2 or Unit 2).

General hours of work are 37.5 hours per week guaranteed, hours and shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends with the option of overtime as required. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.

Requirements For Traffic Management Operative

• Eligibility to work in UK
• Own transport
• Flexibility to work shift patterns of 12 on 2 off (every other weekend off)
• Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months
• Within 1-hour driving distance from the depot
• Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g., Lantra 12D M1/M2 or Unit 2). (essential)
