Job summary

Class One Traffic Management in Lockerbie (DG11 3LP) is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to help keep roads safe and traffic flowing. You will set up and maintain traffic management on highways and construction sites, direct traffic during works and events, and work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations.

We offer three flexible shift patterns (12 on/2 off, 6 on/1 off, or 4 days Sat–Tue or Thu–Sun) to support balance between work and personal life.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months
• Flexibility to work shift patterns as stated above
• Within 40 minutes driving distance from depot
• Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g. Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2) desirable but not essential

We offer three flexible shift patterns designed to support a healthy balance between your work commitments and personal life. These can be a combination of days and nights.

• 12 days on 2 days off (work 12 days, weekend off and continue)
• 6 days on 1 day off
• Part-time over 4 days, shift patterns of Sat-Tue or Thurs-Sun

We also have vacancies for high-speed operatives, which involve night shifts. These roles require a 12AB Lantra qualification.
