Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our team servicing major traffic management clients across the UK. The role involves setting up and removing temporary traffic controls, managing flows, and logging defects or incidents.

From reading CAD drawings to following RAMS and health & safety procedures, you will work with direct labour and sub-contractors to meet deadlines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations and directing road traffic.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements at work.
• Willingness to pass drugs & alcohol checks.
• Right to Work in UK and a clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Job description

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects. Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
• Right to Work in UK
