Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. You will work with M1/M2 roles, set up traffic lights, manage traffic flow and read CAD drawings to support safe road operations.

Ideal candidates have Lantra traffic management qualifications, a full UK driving licence (max 6 points), and the right to work in the UK, plus ability to pass drugs and alcohol checks and maintain high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:
