Job summary

Dooocey Traffic Management, a division of the Doocey Group, supplies high‑quality traffic management solutions for infrastructure projects nationwide. We are seeking a Traffic Management Operative to implement, maintain and remove traffic control measures while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will operate signage and signals, complete Doocey Vision documentation, and uphold high professional standards on busy projects in Bristol/Gloucester.

Qualifications

• Sector Scheme 12d 1 M1, M2 and M5 minimum is required.
• Experience installing and operating multi‑phase temporary traffic signals is essential.
• Full driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and remove traffic management in line with Sector Scheme 12b/d and legal requirements.
• Safely operate and maintain traffic management equipment, including signage and temporary traffic lights.
• Drive company vehicles professionally and in full compliance with the Highway Code.
• Complete all required digital documentation via Doocey Vision (risk assessments, checks, install/deinstall records, incident reports).
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report near misses, incidents, and collisions.
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards, RAMS and SSOW and participate in training.
• Represent the company professionally on-site and with the public.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and remove traffic management in line with Sector Scheme 12b/d and legal requirements, ensuring full compliance with Doocey Traffic Management's TRA100 SOP
• Safely operate and maintain traffic management equipment, including signage and temporary traffic lights
• Drive company vehicles professionally and in full compliance with the Highway Code and road traffic legislation, maintaining high standards of conduct at all times
• Complete all required digital documentation via Doocey Vision, including risk assessments, vehicle and plant checks, install/deinstall records and incident reporting
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report near misses, incidents and road traffic collision in accordance with company procedures
• Adhere to all Health & Safety standards, RAMS and SSOW including participation in mandatory training and ongoing professional development
• Represent the company professionally when working on-site and interacting with the public

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong working knowledge in all aspects of temporary traffic management covering Sector Scheme 12d
• Proven knowledge and experience of installing and operating multi-phase temporary traffic signals

Qualifications & Training

• Sector Scheme 12d 1 M1, M2 and M5 minimum
• Full Driving License
