Job summary

BUKO Traffic & Safety is hiring for a role in temporary traffic management. You will be paid hourly with rates that are competitive, especially for evening and weekend work, with no minimum weekly hours and a guaranteed 45 hours per week.

Typical duties include setting up and closing temporary lights, managing Stop and Go services, and assisting with lane closures. The role requires a UK driving license, proximity to a depot, and a Lantra qualification.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Live within one hour of the depot.
• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
• Holding a 12D M1/2 - M6 Lantra Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals, Multiphase Signals and Pedestrian Signals
• Stop and Go services
• Traffic Marshall/ Gate duty responsibilities
• Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways
• Complete relevant weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks, etc
• Shift work and working outside in all weather

Role Overview

We have highly competitive hourly rates, with market leading rates, especially for evening and weekend work. Our rates are straightforward, you are paid for every hour you work, enhanced rates come into effect with no minimum weekly hours required.

Typical duties include:
