Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Traffic Counts: Gather essential data and communicate with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
2. Maintain Temporary Traffic Lights: Keep our temporary traffic lights in top condition for safe and efficient traffic flow.
3. Deploy Traffic Management Solutions: Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other essential equipment.
4. Mentor New Trainees: Share your knowledge and guide new team members as they learn the ropes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum M1/M2, SLG Unit 2 will be considered.
• Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations.
• Full driving licence with no more than 6 points; any bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
• Positive attitude with a "can-do" mindset.
• Skills in adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and away if required.
• Traffic Management Training is subject to signing a training agreement.

General working hours are 40-48 hours per week, including potential evening, night, weekend shifts, and work away during peak seasons. You will also be part of the on-call rota, especially if you have access to a company van.
