Job summary

Circet UK are looking for experienced 12D Traffic Management Operatives to join our team in Devon. You will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management on urban and rural roads, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

We value qualifications, flexible availability including weekends, and a full UK driving licence. A company van, tablet and phone are provided to support daily work responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing, maintaining and removing traffic management schemes on urban and rural roads.
• Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations and safety practices in TM deployments.
• Qualified for TM installation, maintenance and removal with appropriate credentials.
• Possession of a full UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain and remove temporary traffic management on roads to support production targets.
• Attend site meetings with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders as required.
• Survey and design TM schemes, considering risks and traffic counts to optimise flow.

Main Purpose:

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic management on urban and Rural roads. As an experienced Traffic Management Operative, you will be required to ensure the smooth and efficient deployment of traffic management to achieve maximum production in a working day, whilst maintaining a high Health and Safety standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Competent/adequately qualified for the installation, maintenance & removal of all complex traffic management schemes in both the rural/urban roads networks
• Attend regular site meetings with clients, local authorities and interested third parties
• Survey/design traffic management schemes to assist in production of TM plans, taking all associated risks, traffic counts into consideration.

Skills and Competencies

• Experience working within a traffic management environment
• Experience installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management schemes
• M1 M2, M3 M4 M5 M6 and SLG Unit 2 would be advantageous
• Adequately trained with qualifications for the implementation of temporary traffic management
• Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations
• Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Full UK driving license
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights and away from home when required
• 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Time and a half for weekend work
