Existing Business Trading Underwriter - based in Manchester

Your new company: Your new company is one of the largest MGAs in the UK, with offices across the country, specialising in SME to mid-market Property & Casualty business. They have strong relationships with brokers and focus on client-centered underwriting. Due to expansion, a position for an Existing Business Trading Underwriter has arisen in Manchester.

Your new role: Develop and maintain broker relationships by delivering excellent customer service and managing renewals efficiently. Collaborate with your team to establish and grow the Manchester Centre of Excellence. Responsibilities include handling broker and client requests, renewals, mid-term adjustments, cancellations, and working within delegated authority. You will also identify process improvements and support underwriting assistants.

What you'll need to succeed: Experience in Commercial Underwriting, especially in Commercial Property and Casualty. Self-motivated, friendly, good at relationship building, quick learner, team player, and able to meet deadlines. Strong communication and organisational skills, proficiency in Word and Excel. Ability to work under pressure and problem solve. Cert CII/ACII qualification is preferred.
