Job summary

B&Q is seeking a Trading Team Manager Designate for the Romford area. The role is a permanent contract at 36.75 hours per week, with a salary up to £34,000 per year plus bonus, pension and 6.6 weeks’ holiday.

You will join a programme that places you across clusters of stores, learning the business before taking on your own department. You will coach and develop colleagues, driving commercial delivery on the sales floor and ensuring outstanding availability and customer service.

As a B&Q designate manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about us and our business, typically spend ing 3-6 months working across a cluster of stores (in the Romford/West Thurrock area). You’ll experience management training in various store formats before being placed into your own department or store.

Due to the nature of this role, there’ll be some flexibility and travel required during your time as a designate, before being placed within a store that matches your experience within 50 miles of where you live.
