Job summary

B&Q Limited in Worcester area is seeking a Trading Team Manager Designate. This permanent role can be full time, part time or job share, with around 36.75 hours per week.

You will spend 3–6 months across a cluster of stores (Worcester, Evesham and Malvern) before taking your own department, with travel within 50 miles of your home. You will drive core trading on the sales floor, coach colleagues, manage stock, promotions and reviews using loyalty data and customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching and developing colleagues.
• Ability to lead teams and influence without delegating tasks.
• Strong process discipline to ensure availability.
• Well planned and organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial delivery of the core trading sales floor.
• Lead end-to-end stock management, range changes and promotions.
• Conduct regular commercial reviews using sales data.
• Support colleagues to build product knowledge and meaningful customer interactions.
