Job summary

IMC, a global trading firm, seeks a Software Engineer to deliver trading strategy software and related tools from its London/Amsterdam bases. You will work on applications spanning trading algorithms, options pricing, volatility calculations, and data analysis, using Java 21+ and Python 3.

We value collaboration with traders, strong CS fundamentals, and the ability to own end-to-end solutions in a dynamic environment. Prior financial services exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient in Java and Python with strong CS fundamentals.
• Experience in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders to understand strategies and implement them.
• Develop, test, deploy, tune, and maintain trading applications in Java and Python.
• Improve performance and user experience of Strategy systems.
