Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Trading Standards Officer to join a North West Local Authority on an interim basis. The role covers frontline enforcement, advisory work, investigations and compliance across consumer protection, fair trading, product safety and related areas.

A North West Local Authority is seeking an experienced Trading Standards Officer to join their team on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy and collaborative service, undertaking a varied caseload across a range of Trading Standards functions, including consumer protection, fair trading, product safety, underage sales, and business compliance.

• Conduct inspections, investigations and enforcement activities in accordance with relevant legislation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a Local Authority Trading Standards service.
• Trading Standards qualification (DCATS/DTS or equivalent).

Desirable:

• Animal Feed qualification and experience would be highly desirable and considered a significant advantage.
