Job summary

Trading212 in London is seeking a driven Trading Operations Specialist with 1–3 years of experience to join our Trading Operations Team. You will work across the trade lifecycle, help improve post-trade processes, and collaborate with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to drive efficiency.

You will also contribute to SOPs and control documentation, and support senior colleagues on strategic initiatives. A background in reconciliations and an appetite for automation are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in trading operations, settlements, or a closely related post-trade function.
• Undergraduate degree.
• Experience in trade/position reconciliations and break resolutions.
• A track record of not just completing tasks but questioning and improving the processes behind them.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to cut through complexity and communicate conclusions clearly to both operational and non-operational audiences.
• An appetite for automation and tooling; you'd rather build a smarter process than repeat the same manual task indefinitely.
• Confidence to engage cross-functionally and challenge existing approaches constructively.

Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth knowledge of daily processes across the trade lifecycle and actively improve them where necessary.
• Act as a subject matter point of contact within the Trading Operations domain.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with a structured, analytical approach, and document your findings to prevent recurrence.
• Write and maintain SOPs and control documentation to a high standard.
• Engage directly with brokers, custodians, and internal teams across the firm, representing Trading Operations with confidence and clarity.
• Support senior team members on firm-wide developments and strategic projects.
