The Voleon Group is seeking an Associate Member of Trading Staff to rotate across credit, equity, forex, and derivatives desks and learn each asset class. You will interact with internal stakeholders and broker dealers, gaining hands-on market exposure.

Under mentorship from senior traders, you will build analytics and automation that enhance the firmwide trading program and broaden your market microstructure expertise. London-based role.

Formación

• Passion for markets and financial instruments.
• Proficiency in Python or R and statistical thinking.
• Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Detail-oriented with clear thinking and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor high-volume execution algorithms and portfolio risk.
• Track real-time market developments and price action.
• Interface with external brokers and trading counterparties.
• Contribute to the codebase underpinning automated trading.
• Build processes to prevent outages and improve capacity.
• Provide analytics support to research and development teams.
• Work global market hours on a rotational basis.
