Job summary

Jain Global (UK) Partners LLP is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst in London to manage daily reconciliations across multiple asset classes and support the full trade lifecycle. You will work with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Finance to ensure accurate settlements and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate brings 0–9 years’ experience in trading operations, strong reconciliation skills, and advanced Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• 0–9 years of experience in trading operations or middle office within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banks.
• Strong trade reconciliation and break resolution experience.
• Experience across multiple asset classes (equities, derivatives, FX, fixed income,...).
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement, and controls.
• Experience with Prime Brokers, custodians, fund administrators, or outsourced middle office providers.
• Advanced Excel skills; OMS/PMS platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trade, position, and cash reconciliations across asset classes.
• Investigate and resolve trade, settlement, and cash breaks with internal teams and counterparties.
• Support the full trade lifecycle including capture, allocation, settlement, and exception management.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Finance, Operations, Prime Brokers, custodians and fund admins.
• Monitor settlement activity, corporate actions, and financing events; assist NAV reconciliations and controls.
• Identify process improvements and help automate operational workflows.
• Support onboarding, product launches and operational projects across the platform.
• Escalate and resolve operational risks in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily trade, position, and cash reconciliations across multiple asset classes
• Investigate and resolve trade, settlement, and cash breaks with internal teams and external counterparties
• Support the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocation, settlement, and exception management
• Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Finance, Operations, Prime Brokers, custodians, and fund administrators
• Monitor settlement activity, corporate actions, margin movements, and financing events
• Assist with portfolio and NAV reconciliations and support daily operational controls
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help automate manual operational workflows
• Support new account onboarding, product launches, and operational projects across the trading platform
• Ensure operational risks are identified, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner

Required Experience

• 0–9 years of experience in trading operations, middle office, or investment operations within an asset manager, hedge fund, or investment bank
• Strong trade reconciliation and break resolution experience
• Experience supporting multiple asset classes, including equities, derivatives, FX, fixed income, or listed products
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and operational controls
• Experience working with Prime Brokers, custodians, fund administrators, or outsourced middle office providers
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with OMS/PMS platforms is preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment
