Job summary

Morrisons is recruiting a high performing Trading Manager to help our business grow and succeed. You will ensure stores are fully stocked with high standards, delivering best availability and legal safety across departments.

Reporting into the Store Manager, you will lead the team, plan promotions, respond to customer feedback, and develop talent. You will collaborate with other managers to drive performance and sustain a first-class shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team in a fast paced environment.
• Great communicator who can share knowledge, experience and best practices.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across all areas whilst remaining flexible.
• Adaptable to change, whilst being able to challenge effectively.
• Actively listen to and respond effectively to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to the best standards and ensure the best shopping experience for every customer.
• Plan and organise current promotions or in-store events.
• Listen and respond to customer feedback and react accordingly.
• Ensure market leading availability across the store.
• Work with other Managers in store to drive performance and support departments.
• Manage team scheduling, absence, performance and talent conversations.
