Job summary

Talan in London is seeking an IT Application Support Analyst to join the CIT Business Support Team, dedicated to supporting the front-to-back production system for the Commodities-Indexed Transactions Group (CIT). This on-site role is based in London and requires strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities include monitoring, configuring, and resolving issues across pricing, risk management, market data, and settlements.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level relational database and SQL skills are required.
• Python or other programming skills are required.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell …) and Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitoring the system and configuring it for daily use.
• Analysing and resolving production support technical and functional issues for the CIT platform.
• Fielding questions from traders, marketers, risk managers, and back office and keeping them informed of issues and changes.
• Advising the core development team of necessary bug fixes and enhancements.
• Participating in the first-line support rota, including overnight batch issue resolution and on-call coverage.
