Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Sevenoaks is hiring a Trading Assistant to help stock shelves, assist customers and keep the store well-presented. The role includes night shifts and a total of 22.5 hours per week, with permanent, full-time status.

You will handle stock from the warehouse, assist customers, check dates on produce, and participate in deliveries as needed. Full training and ongoing development are provided within a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ due to hours and products handled (alcohol etc).
• Right to Work in the UK.

• Date check fresh produce and groceries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping our shelves clean, tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
