Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is seeking a part-time Trading Assistant at Upper Heyford Camp Road Local Store, Bicester. You will help prepare the store for customers, replenish shelves, serve at checkouts, and support deliveries.

The role offers 15 hours per week, a £13.23 per hour rate, and permanent contract in a busy retail environment with opportunities to learn and develop within our local community. We provide staff discounts, free meals on shift, generous holiday entitlement, pension

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small team to ensure the store is ready for customers and provides a convenient, speedy shopping experience.
• Collect stock from the warehouse and replenish shelves, serve at checkouts, support deliveries and keep the store tidy.
• Pick quality products for customers using the on-demand grocery ordering service and assist with Click & Collect parcels.
• Be proactive in helping customers and offering assistance.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• Date check fresh produce and grocery items.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working as part of a small team to ensure that all aspects of the store are ready for our customers to provide a convenient and speedy shopping experience
• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves across the store, serving customers on checkouts, supporting with deliveries and keeping the store well-presented, clean and tidy
• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels.
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
