Job summary

Sainsbury's is hiring a Trading Assistant in the United Kingdom to help stock shelves, serve customers, and keep the store clean and well-presented. You’ll move stock from the warehouse, check dates on fresh produce, and assist with deliveries as needed, all while providing friendly, proactive service to shoppers.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, often overnight, and gain product knowledge to recommend items.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping our shelves clean, tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
