Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Trading Assistant to join our busy stores. In this role you'll help set up our shelves, assist customers, and support with stock replenishment and promotions to ensure great value and service in every visit.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, gain product knowledge, and be part of a friendly team. Flexible shifts and a commitment to equality and inclusive culture are part of our approach to staff development.

As one of our Trading Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping our shelves tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
