Job summary

Sainsbury’s is looking for a Customer-focused Trading Assistant to help keep shelves tidy and well-presented, while delivering excellent service to shoppers in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll learn about products and promotions, assist customers, and support in deliveries as required, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork and flexible working across shifts.

• Eligible to work shifts including early mornings or late evenings.

• Stock replenishment across the store, handling items up to 15kg.
• Provide brilliant customer service and answer questions.

Job description

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping our shelves tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required

Eligibility:

• You must be above the school-leaver age in your country School leaving age - GOV.UK
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age
