Job summary

Quant Capital is hiring a Trading Support professional to join a London-based proprietary trading firm. The role provides direct exposure to active traders within a five-day, office-based environment.

You will tackle issues and internal tickets, gaining hands-on experience in a high-standards, collaborative setting with engineers and traders. Ideal candidates bring trading technology experience, Bloomberg proficiency, and a strong finance background (hedge fund/fintech vendor).

Qualifications

• Experience with trading technology and platforms.
• At least 2 years in financial services (hedge fund/fintech vendor).
• Familiarity with equity trading concepts and options.
• Experience with Bloomberg terminal and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support trading desk issues and internal tickets for traders.
• Work in a London-based, office-based environment five days a week.
• Collaborate with traders and engineers in a lean, high-standards team.
• Engage with Bloomberg data flows and market infrastructure.

Quant Capital is working with a London-based proprietary trading firm and market maker looking to hire an Trading Support / Trading Application Support.

The firm based in London has a track record of trading across asset classes. They operate in a highly technical, collaborative environment with direct access to experienced traders and engineers. Despite strong growth, the business maintains a lean structure where what you do has tangible visible impact.

The role sits within one of the trading pods and you will work directly with experienced traders supporting issues and internal tickets. This is a 5 day a week office based role.

Requirements:

• Trading technology experience
• 2+ years’ experience in financial services ideally a hedge fund or fintech vendor
• Ideally experience in an equities
• Understanding of a trading desk, what an option is for example
• Bloomberg
• Excel
• 2:1 from a major University
