Job summary

Magnet is seeking a Trade Salesperson for the Orpington showroom to drive trade sales, build strong relationships with local tradespeople and support warehouse operations.

You’ll manage stock, deliver excellent customer service, and work towards sales targets while protecting margins. Forklift training may be provided, and you’ll join a supportive team focused on development.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and personable approach.
• Willing to learn and develop product knowledge and design software where required.
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to help.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Ability to manage and maintain stock effectively.
• IT literate with strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Open to undertake Forklift Truck Training if required.

£26,538.49 base + uncapped commission (OTE circa £28,000+)
As a Trade Salesperson, you will play a key role in driving trade sales, building strong relationships with local tradespeople, and supporting the smooth running of our warehouse and stock management operations.
