Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative for a busy builders and timber merchant on the Wirral. You will build relationships with trade customers, win new business and work with the sales team to drive revenue growth.

The role requires a solid background in building materials or timber products, strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach to meet challenging targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the Builders Merchants industry.
• At least 3 years' sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and/or timber products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with ability to build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with trade customers and contractors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage customer enquiries and provide expert product advice.
• Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to branch growth.
