Job summary

Systematica Investments in London seeks an Operations Analyst to support the trade lifecycle from capture to treasury. You will manage cash processing, margin calls, reconciliations and post-trade activities across multiple asset classes.

The role requires strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills, a degree, and IOC/IMC preferred. You will work with external counterparties and drive automation while upholding robust controls.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable operations experience at a fund administrator, investment bank or investment manager.
• Experience with DTCC, ICELink, Markit MTM, MarkitWire, Tradeweb, Traiana or Bloomberg would be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Excel, with a proactive approach to AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Process, control and improve operations from trade execution to settlement and treasury.
• Manage cash processing, recording margins, trading costs and fees.
• Review and process margin calls; ensure timely payments.
• Complete trade, position and cash reconciliations; investigate breaks.
• Resolve queries and provide ad hoc reporting.
• Review, process and track fund invoices.
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with outsourced administrators, prime brokers and vendors.
• Maintain robust operational controls and mitigate risks.
