LegalVision in Manchester is seeking a motivated paralegal to join our growing Trade Marks team on a full-time basis. This new role supports British and international clients in protecting, managing, and enforcing brand assets, with responsibilities across correspondence, portfolios, filings, and client liaison.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as paralegal or administrative assistant in a busy legal environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
• Highly efficient, organised, and tech savvy
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team
• Available to work full-time, including approximately two days per week in the office

Responsibilities

• Managing trade mark correspondence issued by trade mark offices around the world
• Managing trade mark portfolios, including monitoring deadlines, providing regular updates to clients, and assisting with maintenance requirements
• Assisting with preparing and filing trade mark applications and documentation with trade mark offices around the world
• Liaising with clients throughout the trade mark application process
• Preparing quotes and cost estimates for complex client work
• Supporting lawyers with evidence projects
• Performing trade mark conflict checks for new and existing clients

This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career paralegal to step into a supportive team that offers real responsibility and direct client contact. Prior experience in trade mark matters will be highly valued but is not essential.
