Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Trade Effluent Billing Technologist to help ensure accurate and fair billing of trade effluent services for our business customers. You will handle charges for non-domestic clients and work with retailers, other water companies and internal teams to resolve queries.

This hybrid role is based in Beckton with 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri). The salary ranges from £33,450 to £38,000 per annum, complemented by a generous pension, holiday entitlement, and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles with strong service quality.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills across different stakeholders.
• Confidence working with data and interpreting written information.
• IT literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office.

About the role

Salary and benefits

• Competitive salary £33,450 to £38,000 per annum. (depending on skills and experience)
• 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with length of service. (plus bank holidays)
