Workchain is seeking a Trade Counter Operative in Ascot to serve customers, handle orders, and provide product information. You will manage customer accounts, maintain ledgers, and build supplier relationships while upholding safety standards.

The role is permanent with Monday–Friday shifts and occasional Saturday mornings, offering a clear path for career development within a customer-facing sales environment.

Qualifikationen

• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Previous experience managing customer accounts or a sales ledger would be an advantage, training provided.

• Serving customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Handling customer orders and enquiries on a daily basis.
• Providing product information and assisting customers with their requirements.
• Processing sales and maintaining accurate records.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Developing relationships with key suppliers.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive an excellent service.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the branch.
• Supporting the wider branch team with day-to-day operations.
