Job summary

Haughey Recruitment is recruiting for a Trade Counter Salesperson in Dungannon to join a busy sales and customer care team. The role covers in-store service, stock replenishment, deliveries, and order processing in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are 39.5 per week (overtime paid), Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm, with every second Saturday 9:30-12:30. Cash handling and IT literacy are essential, and a clean driving licence is desirable for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Job: Trade Counter Sales in Dungannon

Due to continued expansion, our client is currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Salesperson to join their busy sales & customer care team.

Hours:

39.5 hours per week (with the opportunity for paid overtime) - Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday to 4.30pm - Required to work every second Saturday 9.30-12.30

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Customer service: Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Deal with telephone enquiries efficiently and effectively as well as communicating with customers and colleagues
• Assist with stock replenishment on the shop floor. Monitoring inventory levels, restocking shelves and ensuring that products are properly organized and displayed.
• Assist with deliveries in and out of the store
• Sales and upselling: Actively promoting and selling products to customers
• Order processing: Accurately processing customer orders, ensuring that the correct products are selected, and managing any necessary paperwork or documentation.
• Cash handling: Processing cash, credit card, or other payment methods, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
• Collaborating with colleagues: Working closely with other team members, such as warehouse staff or sales representatives, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
