Job summary

Haldane Fisher Limited is looking for a Trade Counter Sales Representative for our Garstang branch. You will provide high levels of customer service to trade and retail customers, advise on products, prepare quotations, and process orders at the counter.

You will work to achieve monthly sales targets, maintain strong relationships with other departments and customers, and participate in stock checks and training to improve product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service at a trade counter.
• Experience handling quotations and turning them into orders.
• Ability to work toward monthly sales targets and margins.

AnTrade Counter Sales Representativeat Haldane Fisher is responsible for providing a high level of customer service at the trade counter, supporting both trade and retail customers with product advice, quotations, and order processing. We're currently looking for an enthusiastic, sales driven, customer focused individual to join our team at our Branch in Garstang.

What You’ll Do

• Price customer enquiries and return same within required time
• Follow up quotations to a conclusion and properly record outcome
• Achieve the specified order quotation to completion rate at the best possible margin
• Accurately process successful quotations into orders
• Pro-actively promote enquiries and orders by telesales
• Provide advice and assistance to customers to best of ability
• Achieve monthly sales targets as set by the Branch Manager
• Work to develop a positive relationship between Sales Representative(s), other Departments and customers to achieve best results for the company

What You Need (Essential)

• Work within other departments as requested to meet customer demands
• Participate in company stock takes ensuring an accurate count of all stock
• Ensure compliance with all regularity and legal requirements
• Co-operate and assist with other departments to achieve sales
• Continually update your knowledge of products by participating in company and supplier training to achieve sales targets
• Act all times with courtesy and goodwill towards customers to promote the best image of the company.
• Work overtime from time to time at the request of the Company. This includes a flexible approach to start and finish times
• Any other tasks as required to ensure the efficient operation of the department as requested by the Branch Manager
