Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Trade Attribution & Client Book of Record Support Analyst in Asset Management Operations to help maintain data integrity, support trade attribution, and deliver clear, data-driven insights across investment portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience in asset management operations or trade support.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle across asset classes.
• Experience with large datasets, reconciliations, and data discrepancies.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trade attribution and matching across client accounts and orders.
• Monitor and resolve exceptions affecting data integrity.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, and technology to capture trade data.
• Validate data quality across operational and reporting platforms.
• Execute controls and reconciliations; identify root causes of breaks.
• Maintain procedures and controls to support audits and risk.
• Respond to inquiries from management and sales stakeholders.
• Explain trade activity, allocations, and lifecycle events with data-driven analysis.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reports on attribution and data quality.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Partner with data and tech teams to enhance reporting and controls.
