Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a pragmatic Workshop Technician to join our Essex engineering team, supporting testing and development of tractors and driveline systems. You’ll prep, test and maintain tractors, diagnose faults and help ensure testing activities run safely and on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on mechanical ability, experience as a technician in agricultural or vehicle engineering, and a valid automotive driving licence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical ability with a methodical testing approach.
• Experience as technician or similar in agricultural/vehicle engineering.
• Valid automotive driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support Test Engineers with tractor driveline changes and testing to plans.
• Plan and manage technician procedures for testing across the fleet.
• Prepare tractors for testing, fitting components and instrumentation.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and maintenance.
• Record test results and write accurate reports.
• Upload documentation to CTS and keep non-conformities clear.
