Job summary
Lola Cars in Silverstone is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the integration and operation of all vehicle electronic and control systems. You will work across powertrain, chassis, and trackside teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions for Formula E and road cars.
The role requires proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, real-time control, HIL, and data analysis, with travel to race events and testing.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering with motorsport or high-performance automotive experience.
- Demonstrable control systems development and validation experience.
- Experience with HIL, simulation, and rig testing is essential.
- HV certification desirable and willingness to travel internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration and operation of car electronic and control systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain real-time embedded control strategies.
- Support trackside activities, tuning, and race team collaboration.
- Monitor telemetry and optimise performance during events.
- Analyse data to improve system behavior and reliability.
- Produce technical reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
