Job summary

Jaguar TCS Racing is seeking a skilled Garage Technician to join the department in a fast-paced environment, factory and trackside. You will manage wheel and tyre inventory, assist with freight operations, and maintain race workshop gear to support daily operations.

Experience in motorsport garage operations, tyre handling at race or test events, and strong teamwork are essential. This role offers UK benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Motorsport event garage experience in factory and trackside environments.
• Experience handling tyres at race or test events and liaising with engineers.
• Strong knowledge of race truck preparation and stock keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Garage Technician both at the factory and at trackside events.
• Manage wheel and tyre inventory in collaboration with Engineering, including TPMS fitting and event management.
• Plan and administer team truck operations, including loading, inventory control and supplier liaison.
• Maintain team consumable stocks in liaison with Chief Mechanics and manage re-stock ordering.
• Oversee pit equipment and off-car hardware with maintenance and proper storage.
• Assist with assembly and maintenance of race/test garage infrastructures and equipment upkeep.
• Assist with freight operations: packing, loading/unloading, and documentation.
• Act as the key contact for storage of pit equipment and PDN inventory records.
• Keep workshop, race and test locations organized, clean, and compliant with safety policies.
• Escalate equipment or operational issues to management promptly.
