Job summary
AB Dynamics is seeking a Test and Commissioning Technician to support the commissioning and final test of track test products used in driver assistance systems. You will work in a small team within Operations, performing electrical and mechanical commissioning, fault diagnosis and testing to meet specifications.
The role involves lifting and moving large products on a trolley, loading/unloading a trailer, and requires good physical fitness and teamwork to ensure high quality results at test
Qualifications
- Electrical or mechanical qualification or degree.
- Experience of automotive electronics.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Electrical and mechanical commissioning of new builds and spare components.
- Fault finding and servicing of existing products.
- Performing functional tests on motors, braking and suspension components.
- Hardware installation, software programming and testing.
- Track testing of platforms and data capture of results.
- Prepare finished product for shipping and final sign-off.
