Listers Group in Cheltenham is seeking a Retail Manager to drive sales with a focus on finance, insurance and value added products. You will lead the sales team, handle customer enquiries and guide the team to improve gross profit across dealership offerings.

The role requires strong sales achievement, FCA compliance and the ability to coach staff. Training is provided; a background in motor retail is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• You may be an existing retail manager, sales manager, sales controller or looking for your first step into management.
• Confident in discussing and identifying individual / company requirements.
• Outstanding record of sales achievement with exceptional finance sales performance.
• Highly organised to ensure paperwork is correct and FCA compliant.
• Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Grow all aspects of sales gross profit, specialising in finance, insurance and value added products.
• Be at the core of customer enquiries and assist in developing the sales team.
• Discuss the financial requirements of customers.
• Advise customers on finance, insurance, warranties and other services offered by our dealerships.
• Ensure customers understand obligations they are entering into.
• Work closely with the sales team and provide coaching and assistance.
• Propose financial agreements to lenders.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and FCA compliant.

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Manager to join our Toyota Dealership in Cheltenham.

Working Hours

The working hours are Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and working Sundays on a rota basis (8.30 to 6pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays).

Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £62,000.

Role and Responsibilities

• Within each of our dealerships we have specialists who can guide and offer customers comprehensive support in all of their vehicle financing and insurance requirements.
• As a Retail Manager with Listers you will grow all aspects of sales gross profit, specialising in finance, insurance and value added products.
• You will be at the core of customer enquiries and assist in developing the sales team.
• Discussing the financial requirements of our customers.
• Advising customers on finance, insurance, warranties and other services offered by our dealerships.
• Ensure customers have a clear understanding of obligations they are entering into.
• Working closely with members of the sales team and providing coaching and assistance.
• Proposing financial agreements to our nominated lenders.
• Ensuring that all documentation is accurate and FCA compliant.
