Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Town Planning Director to lead the Cardiff/Bristol team, driving growth across Wales and the South West. The role requires strong BD skills and weekly travel to Cardiff when based in Bristol.

Senior leadership with a mix of project delivery, team management, and strategic growth, overseeing residential and strategic land projects with a broad client base including developers and authorities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in UK town planning, private consultancy or local authority.
• MRTPI qualified or eligible.
• Demonstrated ability to win work and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Cardiff planning team.
• Manage complex planning applications, appeals and site promotions.
• Drive business development and win new work.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and support progression.
• Contribute to regional and national growth strategy.
