What you need:

As a Town Planning Consultant, you will work on a variety of projects. Your main duties include undertaking planning appraisals, assisting with planning appeals, supporting the preparation of major planning applications, and preparing smaller applications.

Ideally, as a Town Planning Consultant, you will have a relevant degree in town planning. You will be a MRTPI, or working towards this qualification, and the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in the planning industry.
