Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a Chartered Town Planner to join a London-based planning practice within a dynamic SME team.

Work on a diverse portfolio of major projects, from residential schemes to hotels, industrial and urban regeneration. You will learn from senior colleagues, take ownership of projects, and help advance planning applications through the development process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional planning experience within consultancy, developer or local planning authority (LPA).
• MRTPI membership or eligibility.
• Excellent written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Strong expertise in development management.

Responsibilities

• Managing major projects and overseeing smaller development management processes.
• Cultivating and maintaining client relationships by offering precise advice and effective communication on a regular basis.
• Managing pre-application tasks and guiding planning applications through the development cycle.
• Writing representations to local authorities for potential site promotions.
