Job summary

Hirecracker Planning in London is seeking an Assistant Town Planner to support senior planners on significant, large-scale projects and help deliver planning strategies on time. You will assist with external consultant management and prepare high-quality analyses and written reports for clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will hold an RTPI/RICS accredited qualification (or be working toward chartership), possess strong analytical and written communication skills, and bring a proactive,

• Excellent academic qualifications with an RTPI/RICS accredited qualification.
• Ambition and drive to influence and contribute to large-scale, high-profile projects.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Energetic, proactive approach with a willingness to learn and excel.
• Ideally, RTPI chartership or working towards submission soon.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the successful development of significant projects, supporting senior planners in achieving project goals.
• Assist with project management of external consultant teams, ensuring the needs of clients and all relevant stakeholders are met.
• Provide high-quality analysis, research, and written reports, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
• Support the submission of planning applications and planning strategies, assisting with the overall management of projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
