Job summary

Stantec in Kings Hill, Kent, is seeking a Town Planner to join our multi-disciplinary team and lead residential-led developments while coordinating planning applications, appeals and inquiries. You will develop relationships with clients to generate new work and support project delivery.

You should be MRTPI or working towards, with solid planning experience, strong project management and communication skills. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification or working towards it.
• Strong planning experience at Planner level, ideally from a consultancy or private sector background, though public sector will be considered.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run planning applications, appeals and inquiries.
• Coordinate project teams for complex developments.
• Prepare, submit and negotiate planning and economic applications.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to generate new work.
• Input to planning appeals and prepare policy representations.
