Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is hiring planning professionals in Ipswich, inviting Town Planners, Planning Managers, Associate Planners and Associate Directors to join a growing planning team. You'll work on a range of projects and advance your career.

The roles involve delivering planning projects, liaising with authorities and clients, mentoring juniors, and helping grow the practice. MRTPI status or RTPI progression is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about planning and the built environment.
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills.
• Confident managing projects, clients and deadlines.
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Ambitious and keen to develop their career.
• MRTPI qualified or working towards RTPI membership where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a diverse range of planning projects.
• Prepare and submit planning applications and provide strategic planning advice.
• Liaise with local planning authorities, clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Lead projects from inception through to determination.
• Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Mentor and support junior members of the planning team.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the planning practice.
