Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Newcastle is seeking a Town Planner to join a respected planning consultancy. You will work on a broad range of high-profile projects across the North East and wider UK, helping with applications, appraisals and client management.

The role suits a planner with consultancy or local authority experience, offering hybrid/flexible working, MRTPI support and clear progression within a growing team.

Formación

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
• Experience in a consultancy or local authority environment.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
• Ability to manage workloads and deadlines effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.
• Undertaking site appraisals and planning research.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.
• Assisting with strategic planning advice and project delivery.
• Supporting senior team members on major development projects.
• Attending meetings, committee hearings and public consultations where required.
