Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well-established planning-led practice in Cornwall to appoint a Town Planner. You will join a proactive team working on residential, commercial, renewable energy, and tourism projects, with opportunities for varied and challenging planning work.

The role requires at least 2 years of planning experience; RTPI membership is desirable but not essential, with support toward chartership if pursued.

Qualifications

• A planning degree or relevant planning qualification.
• At least 2 years planning experience.
• Experience dealing with a range of planning applications and development types.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• RTPI membership desirable, but not essential; company supports chartership.

Responsibilities

• Work on a varied range of planning projects from concept through to completion.
• Support the team in delivering planning solutions for residential, commercial and tourism schemes.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure proactive and successful planning outcomes.
