Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, award-winning planning-led practice with the appointment of a Town Planner in Cornwall. You will join a friendly team on diverse projects including residential development, barn conversions, renewable energy, commercial schemes and tourism initiatives.

We seek a proactive Town Planner with at least 2 years' experience. The firm supports RTPI chartership and offers flexible working options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Planning degree or relevant planning qualification.
• At least 2 years' planning experience.
• Experience dealing with a range of planning applications and development types.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• RTPI membership would be desirable, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Join a friendly and professional team working on a varied range of planning projects.
• Work on residential development, barn conversions, renewable energy, commercial schemes and tourism projects.
• Provide proactive, client-focused support on planning applications from submission through decision.
