Job summary

Indie Campers Bristol is seeking passionate students or graduates to join as Tourism & Operations Intern at our depot. You’ll welcome guests, set them up for road trips, and ensure their journey starts and ends smoothly in a fast-paced, international environment.

You’ll handle front-office tasks like check-ins, explain campervan features and upsell extras, and back-office work such as coordinating reservations and maintaining fleet readiness.

Qualifications

• You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or a related field looking for an internship.
• You are fluent in English, have a work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver’s licence (for both manual and automatic vehicles).
• You like international environments and meeting new cultures.
• You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer service orientation.
• You have a problem-solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.

Responsibilities

• Front-office: guest check-ins/check-outs, register guests, process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and upsell extras.
• Back-office: align reservations with available campervans, verify and prepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
• Quality control: maintain the campervans in top condition, identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Support: monitor stock, coordinate the fleet, troubleshoot operational issues.
