Job summary

Indie Campers Bristol is offering a Tourism & Operations Internship at our BristolDepot. You will welcome guests, set them up for road trips, and ensure their journey starts and ends smoothly.

Ideal for students or recent graduates in Hospitality or Tourism who speak fluent English, have a valid driver’s licence, and enjoy fast‑paced, international environments. Training provided and compensated internship.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or related field.
• Fluent English, valid work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver’s licence for both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Interest in international environments and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Front-office: welcome guests, check-ins/outs, register guests, process payments, explain vehicle features and terms, upsell extras.
• Back-office: align reservations with available campervans, prepare campers and road trip kits, quality checks.
• Support: monitor stock, coordinate fleet, troubleshoot operational issues.

THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for passionate students or recent graduates who want to dive into the exciting world of RV and campervan rentals and gain hands‑on tourism experience at our BristolDepot located in Eldon Way, Brislington, Bristol BS4 3QQ, United Kingdom Bristol, BS2 0RA.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Front‑office activities:

• Customer service and sales: Take care of check‑ins and check‑outs, register guests,process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, upsell road tripextras.

Back‑office activities:

• Operations handling: Align the reservations with the available campervans, verify andprepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
• Quality control: Maintain the campervans in top condition, identify and act on possiblemaintenance or repair needs.
• Support activities: Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleetof campervans, troubleshooting operational issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, BusinessAdministration or a related field looking for an internship;
• You are fluent in English, have a work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver’s licence (for both manual and automatic vehicles);
• You like international environments and meeting new cultures;
• You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer serviceorientation;
• You have a problem‑solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
