Job summary

Indie Campers in Inverness is seeking a Tourism & Operations Intern to welcome guests, set up road trips, and ensure a smooth journey from start to finish.

You will gain hands-on experience in front-office and back-office tasks within a fast-paced, international environment, with compensation and on-the-job training provided. This role offers exposure to fleet coordination and logistics at our local depot.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in English with work permit if applicable.
• Valid driver’s license (manual and automatic).
• Interest in international environments and meeting new cultures.

Responsibilities

• Front-office: customer service and sales, check-ins/check-outs, process payments, explain campervan functionalities and terms.
• Back-office: coordinate reservations with available campervans, verify and prepare campers and extras, and assemble road trip kits.
• Quality control: keep campervans in top condition and address maintenance needs.
• Support: help monitor fleet stock and coordinate vehicles, assist with operational issues.
